Hours of Operation: Tuesday, Thursday & Friday – 10:00 AM – 1:30 PM Wednesday – 6:00 – 8:00 PM. The Food Pantry helps families and individuals during times of financial crisis by providing nutritious perishable and non-perishable groceries, household items and toiletries. Clients are seen on a first come, first served basis and are required to provide proper identification and proof of residency. Full Food Order – Provides a family with groceries for approximately five days. Supplemental Food Order – Provides bread and other food staples. Food Fair Program – is held only on the last Friday of each month (Jan thru Oct) 10:00am - 12:00pm Clients receive a large order of fresh food compliments of the Houston Food Bank. Clients are seen by appointment only on Wednesdays. To make appointment, call 281-261-5470 on Tuesdays starting at 10:00 a.m. Emergency financial assistance is available to qualifying residents to help with essential living expenses such as rent/mortgage and utilities. Clients referred to the Ministry for financial assistance are interviewed by trained volunteers. Clients must provide proof of residence (i.e., utility bill) as well as a social security cards for each household member. Payments are made directly to the creditor and assistance is limited to one time per 12-month period.

Who Are We?
Texans Recovering Together is a Crisis Counseling Program that offers crisis counseling, community outreach, local referrals and resources, linkage and psycho-education to individuals, families, and communities impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
We are here to ensure that all Texans affected in Harris County will regain a sense of normalcy and recover stronger than ever!
Who pays for services?
All services offered are free. The Crisis Counseling Program is funded by the Federal Emergency Management Agency also known as (FEMA). FEMA is partnered with Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
What Services are Available?
Crisis Counseling and Intervention- Aiming to reduce the intensity of an
individual’s emotional, mental, physical and behavioral reactions to COVID-19.
Education and Awareness- Educating individuals and the community on COVID-19
Resource Referrals- Providing individuals with community resources,
assisting with immediate and unmet needs.
Skill Building- Providing individual/ group sessions and assisting individuals
with information on what to expect following a traumatic event.
Grief and Loss- Offering encouragement and support to individuals with
residual grief and loss of loved ones.
Texans Recovering Together works under the auspices of The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD (The
Harris Center), through the Texas Department of State Health Services. Funds for this program are provided
by the Federal Emergency Management Administration (“FEMA”) and Substance Abuse and Mental Health
Services Administration (“SAMHSA”).
