Did you know that a vast majority of undetected results have lead to deaths bycancer:
Improper Diagnosis and or Delayed Diagnosis
These two factors fail patients leading to deaths caused by careless and neglectful professionals that simply have forgotten, to contact a patient of his or her test results?
Remember you are still in control of what can happen to your body. Follow up with doctors and or other medical staff agencies such as radiology departments, referring doctors, and other screening parties. If after at least one week has past and you have not heard back with your test results.  Time is of an essence and not on your side.
Cancer isn't anyone's friend.  So, please reach out to them and find out what test your results are.
Get treated early and immediately!
Don't become a statistic by learning that you are in a later stage of cancer, where it isn't manageable or it's too late.

We are dedicated in an effort to help alleviate any .unnecessary stressors. That you may be experiencing, while navigating throughout your journey. 1 Step Further Community Center, would like you to know that you are not alone. We will proactively support you during  your journey. 

We Understand what heartache, loss and uncertainty means, that's why we are here for you. To offer services to prevent and or catch cancer before the last stage. It doesn't have to be an immediate death sentence but rather a challenge of fight, strength and achievement. early diagnosis, awareness and treatment are some of the factors that may change the course of path as you start your journey. 


  •  Program Objectives:

      - Increase awareness about cancer symptoms and the importance of early detection.

      - Offer support for individuals affected by cancer and their families.

      - Educate the community on how to reduce cancer risks through lifestyle changes.

  • Awareness Campaigns:

      - Monthly campaigns focused on different types of cancers (e.g., pancreatic, breast, prostate, skin, lung).

      - Distribution of informational brochures and materials.

      - Community events, such as walks, picnics, or runs, to raise awareness.

  •  Screening Services:

      - Provide referral information on free or low-cost screening options available in the area.

  • Provide Supportive Resources:

      - Connect individuals with local resources, such as financial (e.g., rental, food, clothing) assistance programs and caregiving services.

  •  Education and Workshops:

      - Offer classes on lifestyle changes that can reduce cancer risk, such as diet and exercise.

      - Educate the importance of regular cancer screening at the community center

      - Provide information on the latest cancer research and treatment options.
